No, actually, the worst is actually those rubber foot-shaped sex toys with an opening at the ankle. I mean, people can please themselves how they wish but those things look a bit grotesque.

There really ought to be an exhaustive, international survey to see the overall demographics of each fetish. (For instance I've noticed that most foot guys seem to be businessmen in their 40s-early 50s, and they all worked in some sort of creative or design-oriented industry.)

Tie bondage is just some quick thing you do and an act of dominance during sex.
Rope bondage in its more traditional form is a drawn out process where dominance plays a role, but the act itself is also erotic it's not just something included in with the sex. You don't spend 20+ minutes tying someone up for nothing. There is also an element of the sub trying to escape and struggle that comes in to play which goes far beyond choking or hand tying that you see most commonly with ties.
