"Modern music isn't any good."

EDIT: would also like to add, I had a most cringey conversation with someone the other day who ONLY listens to the radio (and most of it talk radio, at that, mind you), and this person proceeded to "school" me that all rock music is based on sadness, all pop is based on happiness, and all rap/hip hop is based on lust or greed.

I said nothing back.

That country music is just too damn diverse to box in like those other genres.
