I once helped out in the office by answering the phone when everyone had disappeared for lunch and had what I perceived to be a pleasant conversation with a client answering their various queries. Later that afternoon the boss called me into his office and told me NEVER to answer the phone again. Apparently the client called back just to bitch about me and he assured the client he wouldn't have to deal with me again.

They call was recorded. The boss was wondering why you were on the phone and listened. He didn't feel like your explanations sold the most profitable version of the company. The client never complained.

I think you should do it openly then whenever there's any conflict with work threaten to sue for wrongful retaliation against following your LEGAL duty. Get them by the nuts.

I've done that kind of ****. A likely scenerio is the media, bureaucrats, and police either know and don't care or just don't care when you tell them. No one will listen or give a ****. I've found violations that I thought would at least interest the ACLU, or NAACP (not environmental but **** that is exactly in their purview). You'll be thinking **** wait until they hear about this ****ing corruption... Nope. Very possibly nope. Just be ready for apathy or worse. It's still worth it, though.

Apparently, me going on vacation for a week is grounds for people here at work to pile all kinds of crap on my to-do list before I go. It is humanly impossible for me to get all this **** done by 3pm tomorrow, you dickheads. ******* salesmen shouldn't make promises to clients based on fallacy, and they have no idea of the domino effect these last minute "little" & "easy" changes will impose.

Not my problem.
