Yeah it's really not a political thing. I was too lazy, indifferent, and nervous about dealing with actual government officials to inform the DMV that I no longer had a car. Then I got a property tax bill even though I hadn't even owned the car during the billing period. I ignored the bill. Got more letters. Ignored them. Got my wages garnished for like a year or something until I lost that job but just let it ride. I honestly would rather have paid the government money I didn't owe them just to not have to deal with that ****.

Kept getting letters, year after year, with late fees building and building, and I ignored them. This was only resolved like last year or something, almost a full decade after this started. Had to go to court for it and when I handed the judge the bill of sale I'd managed to track down he looked at me like I was retard and dismissed my case. I don't even know if I'd have dealt with it yet if I hadn't gotten a summons.

So yeah, not political. Although I do just ****ing hate work in general.
Dude

We are so much alike

No. He'd need money for that.

You are the most lazy **** I have ever come across! No wonder the judge looked at you as if you were a retard, as you put it. I'm sure this could have been sorted with one phone call, a letter, an email, and you chose not to do anything, instead wasting taxpayers' money by letting it go to court? Jesus man! When property tax was introduced here a few years back I got a letter telling me how much I owed. I immediately rang them and told them I was living in a council house, I did not own it, and therefore not being a homeowner was not liable for property tax. They said no problem, send it back, along with a rent receipt. End of problem.

Again, you are so lazy it's beyond ridiculous. If you'd had to pay for that court appearance I bet you wouldn't have been long about sorting it out.

They were garnishing his wages. It is laziness but if you've never felt disconnected like that you're not going to get it. It's really weird. Real depersonalization is like becoming a piece of furniture or something.

Yeah

You just can't face ****

You get a notice and throw it away so it's out of your head

I've ****ed up years of my life not being able to address things

I keep my phone set so I don't get calls and can prepare myself before checking messages

**** like that

I work my ass off... and... it never helps. I tried to kill myself a few months ago. Didn't work. I just feel like I'm drifting... going nowhere. The only one I can see enjoying being me is me, and even that doesn't make sense.
