BB is the better show, but Hal is the better character. It's an apples to oranges thing, they both have much different goals and character development approaches, but it's the truth.

Better character is one thing but you said better acting performance, I can't think of many performances by any actors ever that stands up to his overall body of work throughout Breaking Bad

Cranston's a good enough actor that the performance and the character are inseparable.

Michael Shannon's probably the best actor of our time. People thought he was stiff in The Shape of Water but that's because
