Default The Disasters Thread

Let's talk about disasters. Natural, man-made, big or small. Disasters from Pompeii to Challenger, and from that dinosaur-seeking meteor in the whatever-the-****-acious age to the release of Kesha's new album.

Great Fire of London (1666) has that beat. Plus it has the Satanic factor.

Just the year 1666? The Lisbon Earthquake really did affect Christianity. And killed way more people. Hit on a religious day. Many trapped in collapsed and burning churches. Changed philosophical outlooks.

Fall of the Roman Empire, baby. Serious global power shift.
