But the Nightmare Before Christmas tune I love the most (and bought the soundtrack for) is this one:

I love MBC and love that song. Still generally hate Christmas though.

I prefer Merry Christophe.

Christmas music doesn't always have to be cause to stab your ears out btw

What makes me feel in that christmas mood more than anything is traditional Danish psalms and popular American christmas tunes like Bing Crosby's "White Christmas", for example. I don't know if Americans are aware, but their version of christmas has really infested most of the christian world. I'd say American holiday tunes are at least as familiar to Danes as our own canon of pop tunes for this season. Those aforementioned psalms are really the only thing that, musically speaking, is 100% our own.

Love that one too. I used to have a few lines from it stuck in my head literally for months:laughing:

Later this month, this small local cinema is showing this movie in a former factory hall turned-cultural-center. Looking forward to sing along to the songs together with 100 other people.

Preface: Linda is a ****ing category 5 tornado in waiting at any given moment.

She can lie dormant for days, sometimes weeks. But when she erupts, stay the **** out of the way.

It could be cleaning out her closet, vacuuming the dog hair out of the house, scrubbing bathroom tile, rearranging........ well, anything.

Stay the **** out of the way.

Two days ago, and based on how ****ty 2017 has been for us she told me: **** Christmas this year. **** it. I don't want anything to do with it. We got nothing but ****ed this year. Screw it.

The tornado struck around 11:00 AM this morning. It's gonna be 100% Christmas in the Vista household.

I almost broke my back earlier taking down a huge package of decorations from our attic.

At this moment, I'm staying the **** out of her way. I did set up the tree though, and it looks killer.

What you guys having for dinner? I might have cheeseburgers. Been doing them Juicy Lucys that Deej posted. Will probably have two of those.

For me the best thing about Christmas is spending time with your family and everyone is together and you are just having a nice time.

This year I can look forward to, and enjoy, the many football fixtures over the Christmas period. As the football lads will know, in previous years the season was already over by the halfway mark for me.

Not a very festive song, but he does mention a whole bunch of Christmassy things, and squeezes in a little snow=cocaine thing too:-

Actually, I probably posted this same song last year - but no apologies, that's exactly what Christmas music is about!

Wait... You don't mean cheeseburgers... as your christmas eve dinner? If so, that's depressing.

I thankfully rarely see the obnoxious half of my family - not even at christmas. So yeah, I love the family aspect of christmas.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce all stuffed into a pie. The crust is mind blowing.

Why is it depressing? Christmas dinner is supposed to be the most enjoyable meal of the year and I will enjoy some burgers more. There are no laws in place that state you must eat turkey on December 25th. The enjoyment if you are having turkey with all the trimmings is outweighed by the hassle of doing everything from scratch, then there is often the waste.
