Wait... You don't mean cheeseburgers... as your christmas eve dinner? If so, that's depressing.

I thankfully rarely see the obnoxious half of my family - not even at christmas. So yeah, I love the family aspect of christmas.

Turkey and ham and all the other generic holiday foods are boring as shit.. They are just easy to make mass quantities of.

Why is it depressing? Christmas dinner is supposed to be the most enjoyable meal of the year and I will enjoy some burgers more. There are no laws in place that state you must eat turkey on December 25th. The enjoyment if you are having turkey with all the trimmings is outweighed by the hassle of doing everything from scratch, then there is often the waste.

Americans like you make me sick. :ar_15s:

I'm looking forward to christmas evening dinner all year long. It's usually duck with red cabbage (proper translation?), prunes, brown sauce, potato chips and boiled potatoes. Rice a la mande with cherry sauce for desert. All of this stuff (or variants thereof) for dinner around mid-day:

I know it looks disgusting but... oh my god is it good.

Not knocking your hamburgers. I just couldn't imagine my christmas without all the traditional Danish foods.
