I marketed my music to some of these people, not sure if that breaks the rules for "the real test" or not.

Man, I’ve seen so much great music with under a 1000 listens on Spotify. Has no relation to the value of the music.

I like a lot of his stuff but it's often kinda unfocused.
Some individual tracks are great but at album length I tend to get bored at some point.

You might think that it's unfocused, but I'm just surprised that we're still doing these awards.

I'm not, believe it or not, trying to put your music down. I don't like it, but that's me. But, if you were to GIVE your music away to people on the streets, say, and ask them to give you feedback when they had listened, I wonder what the overall reaction would be (other than, get me away from this crazy guy, I bet he has a gun, I had better take his damn album!) ....

Nobody wants free music on the streets anymore.
