I guess there’s so disputing that Jacksonville is the capital of southern rock. Whipping Post - 1969 Midnight Rider - 1970 Hot ‘Lanta (instrumental) 1971 Melissa - 1972 No doubt, they were total game changers. Great band.

38 Special A fun bit of 80’s nostalgia I never did get into the old 80’s meat market scene (Wrong answer, son!) This one kind of reminds me of like a soft rock Ratt This is probably their best song for whatever it’s worth

Orlando and Lou Pearlman
Founded and managed the following bands. Was suspected of being a child molester. Art Garfunkel’s cousin. Ponzi scheme mastermind and of course born again Christian.  Lou Pearlman died from stroking out while locked up in a Miami prison. Spoiler for random shot of black inmates who may have raped Pearlman:
