TIL 1.3 million students in the United States don't have access to music education. Sad!

final grade in the math class is a 91% :/ but w/e.. my final grades didnt even make the deans list this semester i think its because i picked the hardest classes, even though i got the A's in math and english.

English 101: 94%
Contemporary Math: 91%
GD&T: 82%
Technology In Advanced Manufacturing: 89%

just four more semesters.....

I never taught college but I always found a way to bump 89’s to an A.

the final exam still me because i had a 92 in the class but got a low grade on the hard asf exam and landed with a B+ its all good, i got offered to that Phi Theta Kappa frat thing(prolly since i made the presidents list last semester), but its $75 bucks for membership, ill pass lol

if i would have maybe got like 3-4 questions more correct on the 89 question final, i could have got that A-. but Two A's and Two B's is success, everyone cant be perfect

I graduated with a 4.0 on my teaching degree but I understand not everyone flies as high as The Hawk.

JK

What you’re doing is much harder.

I hate online ****. There’s no forgiveness. One class I took online had an exam that had like a 30 minute time limit and if you scored less than 80% you FAILED the course. I ended up with a 100 but I felt like it was a bull**** way to manufacture academic rigor.

so i found out my GD&T grade of 82% is a flat C, not a B my GPA dropped down to 3.63, so im trying to get another semester of all A's to raise my GPA. the companies that come to my school really look at the GPA since they have probably idk, 100+ in the manufacturing programs. machinists are in demand but they still look at the GPA, according to the job postings on the wall there. heard pratt & whitney pays their machinists $34 an hour could be where i finally land for long term career. im at least applying there, and they come to our school, its right across the street from the school

I´ve never taken or administered an on-line course, but have participated in online workshops and a course I teach now has a compulsory online component. Everyone, loathes it, incl me.

Congrats on your patience and your results, Mindfulness

^ I think most are a bit like Music Banter. Imagine reading the longest, most boring thread we have*, then being obligated to PM a 500-word analysis by the end of the week. The only feedback for your efforts is a percentage grade in a column and the privilege of doing the same again next week.

* Any nominations, out of curiosity? Please don't snipe at someone's journal though.

@Lisnaholic,thanks I might consider online class in the future. yeah that math class basically taught something new each week and then gave a quiz or exam at the end of the week. if online classes are similar at musicbanter than it wouldnt be that bad.

I looked up my 82% and it is a B. not sure why my transcript gave me a C. It should be a B-
