Interesting. It might be more realistic to research ways to get around these barriers using imaging based on surroundings and lighting to eliminate shadows or other alternatives than true invisibility to achieve the invisibility cloak angle. This angle seems like a great way to hide atrocities in remote areas, unfortunately.

I'll go tell the scientists who surely haven't considered this yet.

Don't know how many ways they've looked at this - and I'm sure there are
some academic papers that might be interesting if you can get past the jargon,
but, most of all, I'm intrigued that they have even gotten this far into studying this.
Also, I would think the computer power would have to be massively larger than would
be practical to do what you're suggesting. Doesn't mean that it can't be done someday tho.
