Why is there a nomination process for anything? In this case, it allows for casual back and forth and makes it more personal imo. Anyway I'm not trying to deal with 14-way ties when everyone votes for themselves in the flattering categories.

Do whatever you want next year.

Generally the nominations always get like five noms per category per person. People were lazy this year.

According to my spreadsheet there are 5+ nominees for most categories.
