i can't believe i forgot about this one. maybe its cuz i listen to the whole album and never to a certain track and also that i have it on cd.. but this title is so charαcteristic i should have remembered anyway. great album by the way!
^ Great band! I've seen them perform live several times since the early 90's. Always a good show.

i dlove to see tortoise live, i never had the chance. well at least till this album they made with will oldham, after that i kinda lost touch with what they did (for no particular reason...)
^ Another of your picks that I've seen perform live. Saw them at Antone's in Austin, TX in the early 2000's. They blew me away so I started checking out their studio albums but none of them have ever come anywhere close to impressing me like that live show did.

hey at least this time i m not jealous :) i am not cause i ve seen them perform about the same time (2001 i googled it) in Lycabettus. for some reason they are pretty popular here and have played several times live, they collaborated with a local musician etc.....
about their albums, i like hot rail and the black light almost entirely. other than those i guess you are right about them beeing better live than recorded..
