Some of the same Plants just at different stages of growth....

Potatoes

Toms...

We call the above tree and umbrella tree because it was like a sun umbrella and that is what we used for.It died off the year before last but the habitat of the tree is that is throws up new shoots and this is the stage the tree is at..which one will actually end up as the strong one for a trunk can't say as yet as the new branches all look about the same width..

I don't mind people stopping in front of the house admiring stuff in the garden -
it happens a lot - but sometimes weird stuff happens that gets my attention to
where I have to stop what I'm doing and check it out.

Some guy pulls up to our house pretty fast - backs up - gets out and starts fondling the irises.
He seems so overwhelmed by something - really hyper! - that he goes thru various motions:
opens the backdoor to his car, walks up the walkway like he's going to our front door,
turns around and walks back to his car, closes the back door and goes around to the
other side of his car and opens the other back door, then the front door ...

So, I have to stop what I'm in the middle of doing and go outside to see what the hell is going on.
Apparently, he's so excited seeing one of our irises growing ("I've never seen one like that..."),
that he wants to give us $10 for it if he could just dig it out of the ground. People, sometimes ...

Wow ten whole dollars. You might as well throw in an hour with your wife to make it fair.
