It's probably ok to just lysol the **** out of people as they walk up to pay for something too. They'd appreciate it.

I hate to be negative nelly but finding reliable treatments takes a long time and just a doctor here and there saying this showed promise and then how the media reports it - anything can happen but all these things are far more likely not to turn into anything viable than they are to pan out.

No. No one likes being treating like they are a germ.

Just seen a report on Sky News with footage from hospitals in Northern Italy.

All I can say is ****ing hell.

I have a friend in Argentina and she said they announced a full quarantine and the police and army will patrol the streets.

Usually yes, but it's beyond normal etiquette now. It'd be more about the sprayer feeling guilty about wasting personally valuable germicide than hurting someones feelings, and the sprayee getting a free dousing is just a bonus for them.

It’s the only way. California’s new policy won’t work unless it’s enforced. The virus has to have no access to new vectors until it can no longer spread. Even with very few remaining vectors we start over again. China has no new domestic cases but a handful of travelers. That’s all it takes and they’re doing it all again in Beijing and Shanghai.

I’m starting to worry about the supply chain for essential items though. And social disorder.

With all due respect to the sensitivity of the situation, this is pretty good:

I'm about to go into work from home/isolation mode. Just a few last things to tie up here at work. The CAD server is all backed up and mirrored to an ext. HD that I'll bring with me, and my VPN is all setup, tested, and ready to go. It's really fortunate that I didn't cancel my internet connection at home along with my cable last month, and also that I bought a laptop with comparable components as the behemoth's we use here for CAD and animations at my work. Whew. This wouldn't even be possible six months ago. I blame my fascination for the VR worlds of Twinmotion for all of it though, since that's what set it all in motion. So, in essence, it's thanks to a video game that I'm able to adjust my life to comply with the current social demands and to try and help save lives.
