This is true. I still occasionally think of insults you laid out, at me or otherwise.

I joined this forum when I was 18 and am now 34 going on 35. That's 17 years on this forum with some breaks in between. Urban beats my join date. I sort of reminisce of being on the site during the earlier days, I miss some of the people we would chat to.

I was wondering about nagging Ethan and Comus to come back to as we're mates on FB. Me and Ethan also randomly met up in a music group on fb <3 The internet is such a tiny, tiny place.
Might have even worked if I actually used facebook still.

Pretty good nowadays, back in Norway, have my corpo job that I actually enjoy and I've started appreciating music again after a significant lull now that I can listen to stuff at work while focusing since mostly working at home.

How about you dude?

I mostly just took the opportunities that presented themselves and after working some years as a caseworker with wastewater pollution from industry, I now manage the wastewater department of the southern municipality where I live with my wife and two kids. Last time we were both active here, I never could have guessed my life would take me to this point (it's not like I had ambitions in sewage), so it's weird stuff.

Besides becoming a major Zappa-head and a few other interests that have come up the last decade, I too have had a significant lull when it comes to music listening. But I've done a bit of music production myself as I put together a home recording studio some fair amount of years ago and have since put out a few things, either just as myself (though I operate under various monikers / anagrams) or as part of our folk group Gladlaksene. Most of my stuff stays unreleased though, so far.

But yeah, it's a lot of diapers and other sorts of family life here atm
