Greg Egan's Luminous - hard science-fiction short stories, some of which the science is merely speculative
no desire to finish the book like Gravity's Rainbow quickly so I'm taking it at a lesiurely pace |
"Adrian Mole: The Prostate Years" by Sue Townsend. I reccomend reading all the books back to back starting with when he is 13 up to the present 39 if you really want to understand the most current book (You almost feel like you are Adrian Mole sans airplane stuck to your nose :) ). Just an absorbing series.

Just barely started this, but I'm really excited. I liked The Road a lot, and I'm always in the mood for a western. |

Currently studying up on my music theory outside of my theory classes with Harmony Simplified by F. H. Shepard.

From the 'A Song of Ice and Fire; series, A Storm Of Swords (part 2: Blood And Gold). I've been reading it for ages, and the news that the next installment is to be released this summer has motivated me to read this one and A Feast For Crows before then.
Then I'll be following it up by (finally) reading the Mistborn trilogy. |
