Graduates of a peculiar English boarding school happen upon each other years later, or something like that. I'm only a chapter in, but it's supposed to be really good.

It is very good, just horribly sad.

I've always loved Sedaris and am quickly falling for Bryson.

I am also reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray". Amazing.

I would also recommend "Persuasion" by Jane Austen. It is a beautiful story.

Very disturbing, morbid, graphic anthropological study on 'death' in many cultures. Fascinating as well. Ranging everything from the modern sacrificial cannibal rituals to Viking rape, and murder rituals to Vampire lore. Very twisted, fantastic book.

about to start on:

The Hobbit.

The Wheel of Time: 13 Gathering Storm. There is no finnish translations, because the author (Robert Jordan) died few years ago and the company stop publishing rest of the serie. Reading (and talking) different languages is good exersice :D.

And before that i read Ilkka Remes's book ''Pahan Perimä'' (Evils Genotype or somth.), finnish international thriller. Very good, but i guess there's no translations on english, maybe on geramany.
