The last two books I read were World Without End by Ken Follett and The Road by Cormac McCarthy (the same guy who wrote No Country for Old Men). I really enjoyed both of those. My literary taste really doesn't venture too far from what's required for school so these two were kind of a big deal for me. Anyways, currently i've started Stephen King's The Stand which is supposed to be a modern classic and so far it's lived up to being so. Really cool setting and in-depth characters.

My understanding is that this is the first and only book written by the two authors. It's received good reviews though, so I'm looking forward to reading it.
