Decided to get back to reading by tackling these two books that are now films. One I've seen, and one I haven't.

So I started The Catcher in the Rye Friday evening. One chapter left. I read too fast.

I just finished James Kelman's A Disaffection and I have never related to a book more. Maybe you need to be a Scottish male from a working class background that went into academia and loves alcohol though.
