The ending really bugged me.

As a whiny, self-centred musician who doesn't have too many fans, The Hunger Artist is my favourite.

Looks quality.

I tamed the shit outta some owl bears, saved a crab man from a panther thing, got one of the owl bears to maul the bad guy, and then rode away on a griffon. #ThugLife

No bitches? How is that a male power fantasy?

Oriphiel 09-13-2017 03:03 PM

The main character is like a ten year old girl, and it has unicorns and shit, so I guess it was supposed to be for kids. But then again, people eat shit in hilariously gruesome ways, so either they were targeting some hardcore kids, or they were just hoping that parents wouldn't flip through it before buying it. Either way, lol.

Read "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" last night apparently the writer made a video game for it as well might have to check that

Kafka is a bitch to translate.
Read some in English and Russian out of curiosity and something very important is missing. This is obviously always the problem with translations but Kafka looses more than a lot of other authors because of it.

Excellent stories. Read nearly all of them.

I love this line, from where I do not know: "Gregor Samsa woke up, found he had not turned into an insect, and stormed off to find the author who had been spreading these nasty rumours about him ..."
