The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin First in a trilogy this is absolutely enthralling sci-fi. Very unique interesting easy to follow but complex in scope. Really fascinating concepts I haven’t seen addressed in science fiction before. Already a classic in China and I don’t know how big it is here yet but this is going to explode if it hasn’t already. |

Finished "How to win friends and influence people". It seems like a book for management or leadership roles, I was reading to get more likes on Facebook and more views on social media stories. It's relatable but just sort of only for the workforce and not for everyday life situations, maybe I missed that part. Officially halfway through "The 48 laws of power", this book is very relatable to everyday situations. And about a 1/4 of the way through "The secrets of the Zohar", which is really good. Next up going into 2021: - "The Alchemist" - (1st time) - "The Terrorist Watch" - (2nd time) - "Think and Grow Rich" - (2nd time) - "Dreams and Shadows" - (2nd time) - "The Secret History of the world" (3rd time) - "Keep Calm & Carry On" - (2nd time) - "Mastery" - (1st time) https://i.imgur.com/zUQTVbg.jpg |

I have been on a mission to re-read every good book I have again plus a few new ones. When I read most of my books, I was drinking lots of alcohol every night. This time reading with a sober mind, (besides CBD), I am remembering the books somewhat but also feeling like it's the first time reading again at some times. I am pumped to read George Orwell's "1984", buying the fancy hardcover plus a second copy of Manly P. Hall's 'The Secret Teachings of all ages" because the paperback is just too fragile for how important the information inside. So I am getting a hardcopy of that too. Going to try and finish 2 books every 2 weeks also for the blog. That's a lot of reading and it's been working the past two weeks so far. I'll be finished with 3 decent size books in two weeks this first blog. I have been reading a couple of chapters in one book, then reading a couple in the other.
Starting "The Alchemist" after the Zohar book is finished. Then Starting "The Terrorist Watch" once I finish the Robert Green book. Went through my bookshelf and got rid of more books I never read or don't plan to read. I am most likely going to finish the next two books by the end of the year and then get "1984" and read along with "The Secret History Of the World", which will be for the 3rd time. The 2nd time I read that book I highlighted important sentences and this will be interesting going back into my mind on what I thought was important back then reading the 2nd time. |

I didn't know that, thanks for the information. Is that information from someone on your podcast you listen to? It was further in my reading lineup anyway. the reading line up consists of two books at a time: - "The Terrorist Watch" (2nd time) - "The Secret history of the world" (3rd time) then: - "1984" (1st time) - "The Secret teachings of all ages" (2nd time) |
