Found out today that Chuck Klosterman is coming to campus, so I'm going to try reading this:

I'm so partial to his essays that I hadn't given it a chance, if any of you have, I'd love to know your thoughts. There's a lot of other reading I should be doing, and if this is a bust I'd rather not waste the time.

I've recently finished 'Kaas' by Willem Elsschot and it was a really good read. I'm now starting with Hemingway's 'Green Hills of Africa'.

I'm curious to see what he has to say.

Plus I'm a fan and all that jazz.

So much negativity thrown at a group that is all about positivity.

I am completely and utterly in love with Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. Each book is more exciting than the last! Right now I'm on book five, The Wolves of Calla".

Also hoping to start this one soon:

Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. It just came out today, and Sunday I'm going to be at his book signing. Woot!

The first book in the series (and incidentally, the authors first published novel, period) called The Name of the Wind was freakin' awesome. If any of y'all like fantasy, you MUST check this guy out.

Wind Up Bird Chronicle was just ****ing amazing.

I'm not sure what to read next, I think I may download the ebook of Kafka on the Shore.

I read that one a while ago. Such a bizarre book. It definitely had its moments but I think I preferred Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World.

Coltrane: The Story of a Sound
To be quite honest this book is pretty dull so far. It reads like some kind of extremely long form music review, which is just not a good way of writing a book imo. Hopefully it will get better but I have my doubts.
