If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it? Action Comics #1 going for like half a million sent the comics industry into a speculation death spiral back in the 80s/90s and I'm curious what even niche comics from that era go for.

A CGC graded 4.0 copy is listed for $100 right now on eBay, and there's an ungraded good condition copy of the same vintage listed for $85. A few copies have slipped under the radar and sold for significantly less. I paid $12 for an original golden age comic. I think I made out well. I've had a few other comic rarities in my hands. I only have ancient digital pics so sorry these are poor quality, but I hit up an antique junk shop and the owner showed me his graded Fantastic Four #1, Spider Man #1, and X-Men #1. In 2015 they were valued at $50,000. Not bad! ![]() ![]()
