![]() ![]() For those of you who havent read it, its about a day in the life of two wanted mass murderers and a Hollywood director being blamed for the crimes they are commiting due to the violent nature of his films. The day and night the book covers also happens to be Oscars night. It does seem to borrow alot from the likes of Reservoir Dogs and Natural Born Killers but i really enjoyed it. It inserts itself heavily into the age-old debate concerning crime and media influence and the "glorification" of violence but also maintains the dark humour i would expect from Ben Elton. I cant help but think this could have been made into a great, if rather unoriginal, film. I wonder if the play was any good? |
