I haven't watched so many Friday the 13th movies actually. I've seen Part VI which was pretty horrendous and Freddy vs. Jason, but I haven't seen the earlier ones which I guess are the ones worth checking out.

Which is the best one?

my favorite out of all of them is "The Final Chapter".....jason starts to get very creative with the ways he kills people.....it has one of the better "stories"

you have to realize Tore that by this point pretty much all we do is get very drunk and just rip these films to shreds......i still love most of them.....but for the most part they can be pretty awful

Is that the one with the death-by-road-flare scene?

Speaking of 24 hour movie marathons;

And for those who don't already know;

Sudden Impact > Dirty Harry > The Enforcer >>> The Dead Pool >>>>>>>>>>>> Magnum Force

I cried during Serenity...and pretty much at some point while watching every single Joss Whedon TV series. Damn him.

Last movie was:

Surprising, not bad at all. Yes, the acting was sub-par in some places, but I loved the idea behind the story. A future where time is currency, and some people quite literally live from day to day. And of course there is an imbalance of "wealth". Think of this movie as Logan's Run-meets-Robin Hood-meets-Bonnie and Clyde.

I really like Justin Timberlake as an actor (more than a singer, although I've gotta say, he does have some catchy songs), and I had high expectations for him in this movie which sadly he didn't quite meet. He's good in his off-beat rolls though (anyone see him in "Southland Tales"? Awesome stuff.)

It's not masterpiece, but it should hold your attention for a couple hours. I'd give it 3.5/5 stars.

I need to see In Time. Love a good scifi flick.

I saw Red State mostly because of Kevin Smith's involvement but I was disappointed in it.
