I pretty much agree with what reviewers are saying about this. It's hilarious, but drags on way too long at the end. Solid B+ though, Adam Sandler's best movie in a a very long time.

Layed off it for a while and finally watched Master and Commander: Far Side of the World. Pretty much enjoyed it, apart from the lull in the middle. I just wish someone better than Russell Crowe was the lead. But I'm really interested in both that era of military and also naval shenanigans of that time and for the most part it was highly accurate, fictional accounts aside.

if you're interested in french movies you must watch Amelie Poulain if you haven't watched it yet. It's played by Audrey Tautou [the character Martine in "L'auberge Espagnole"]
... or of The city lost children by the same director [jean-Pierre Jeunet]

^I've loved this movie ever since I first saw it twenty years ago. I didn't understand all of it back then, but rewatching it now was even better and made me appreciate it even more.

^Terrible dialogue, hokey story line. Brandon Lee and Dolph Lundgren. I love it.

^I remembered I loved this movie when I was little. I saw my mom had it and stole it from her, gave it a view last night. It's terrible and great at the same time. It goes through stages where it's definitely geared for young kids, and then parts that make you want to cover your kids eyes. It's cute mostly, good for a trip down memory lane anyway.

The Wizard of Oz on the big screen. Perfect. Every time.

Alas, still yet to get an original 1939 movie reel of this, which would be one of the top movies in my collection.

I just watched My life without me ... that's a pretty good movie.
i had watched two movies by Isabel Coixet, but they were too drama-queen material ... but in this one, the dialogue was really good.

and the actress Sarah Polley is incredible ...

What a fantastic trilogy of films and something for everyone.
