I just saw John Carter a few days ago, it was fantastic in 3D. Won't go too far into the details to avoid spoiling, but it was good stuff.

Also saw 21 Jump Street the day after, which was funny in moments, not really good, quite predictable. It was okay I guess.

Isn't it about Nicholas Cage's career? Sorry, had to take the obvious joke.

I love Cage! This is the second night in a row I've watched one of his movies...

it was alright

problem is, they never had the technology to bring it to life in the 20s/30s in the same way as they did Tarzan

and most of it seems like cliches now, cause the series has been plundered to hell by every hack since then

The story was okay. Honestly, I could have written it better, but the acting was great. I've always thought Ashley Judd was a great actress and Michael Shannon has always been one of my favorites. They play psychotics VERY well.

Slow paced and just average. Fiennes was great as always and the "twist" was good but it was just too slow to peak my interest. I kept looking at the clock.

I watched it really late last night. Started it at 1:30. Perhaps it was my urge to finish it and go to sleep but I just wanted the thing to end. I don't get like that often.

Saw this last night with my girlfriend cause we both wanted to see a shitty gory slasher film. Turns out it's not a slasher and it's not gory, it was just boring and shitty. I really just wanted the movie to end the whole time so I could leave.
I can see how the plot of this film would sound good on paper, but it was executed horribly and it's incredibly transparent. Please don't watch this movie.

Silent House is a classic fail.
As a horror, it's about as nerve-shattering as Scary Movie.
The only amazing thing about The Silent House is how amazingly boring it is.

Don't forget "Drenched in the horror of depressing disappointment".
