If you don't find them funny so be it. I just hate the whole "he always plays the same guy" thing. Not everybody can be Gary ****ing Oldman.

I don't hate him for only playing the same guy. I love plenty of actors who do that, comedian or not. I just hate the character that Will Farrell plays.

Gotcha. I also made that list just to see for myself what his ratio was. You should watch Stranger Than Fiction and Everything Must Go. They're different.

Holy Motors

Holy Sh*t.

Please tell me one of you have seen this movie so that I can talk more in depth about what I just saw. Seriously. Holy ****.

F*ck Daniel Day Lewis. Denis Lavant should have been given an Oscar for what he did in this film. He was incredible. He was both emotional and physical in what is truly one of the strangest roles in the strangest movie I have ever seen. Yet! This movie was brilliant. It's the best yet most confusing and thought provoking film that came out last year. I don't even know how to describe it. It's basically a film about performers and the audience but the line between them is so think that you have no idea what is real, what is an act, or who the hell is even watching it.

It revolves around a performer who is brilliantly played by Lavant who is driven around in a limousine being carted to each performance. Every time he exits the vehicle the show is on. That's all I can really say because the film is such a mind f*ck that it's better to enjoy it knowing as little as possible.

Please. Somebody watch this so I can talk about it. Please.

Lynch/10

Argo

Did it deserve Best Picture? I can honestly go either way. I'll be watching the rest of the nominees excluded Les Mizz and decide for myself but for right now I'd say that it deserved a Best Picture is there were no clear cut winner among the bunch. I think that'll change after I see Amour. I enjoyed it though. The last half hour was tense albeit a bit cliche and generic in its use other getting you on the edge of your seat. John Goodman and Alan Arkin were ****ing awesome together. I'm going to look forward to everything Affleck puts out cause the dude can direct a film. Solid movie.

8/10

Same could be said for Adam Sandler, but I find that kind of comedy is better when you don't want to do a lot of thinking. That's why I like Sandler and Ferrell. It's more or less comfort comedy than anything, for me.

Well that and Will Ferrells five minute skit of two hours for a movie is absolutely hysterical. Hes really only had a few bad movies come out, sure his sophomore humor isn't ever gonna win him an oscar but he brings the laughs at least for me. I watched The Other Guys last night and it was awesome.

A good day to die hard by John Moore. I like Bruce Willis movies.

Oh god that movie was complete and utter garbage. I love bad action movies like a fat kid loves cake, but that was just horrendous. I can't even really tell you why I hated it, because within twenty minutes I was so bored that I stopped even analyzing it. I actually closed my eyes at one point and took a mini nap. The Russian chick was hot though.

That saddens me. I always look forward to the new Die Hard movies. I'm gonna roll with it when it goes dvd.

I'm going to start using a new scoring system. 1-5.

One Point 0

Not a bad little psychological thriller. It kind of reminded me a lot of a more fast paced and glitchy "Pi". Overall it was an okay watch.

Taking Lives

I hated this. I guessed the ending at the beginning. Bad, just bad.

Safety Not Guaranteed

I really enjoyed this one. I like Aubrey Plaza is turning into an indie princess. She's popping up everywhere. The cast was great in this and it was funny while being sincere. It also has just a perfect ending. Check it out.
