I always liked the second Robin best...busted stealing the wheels off the batmobile! :)

Now that would make a cool movie....the death in the family story arc

Not to mention Bane's death was the most anticlimactic thing ever....

I will agree with this, but that whole scene was spectacular. Feelings were felt, man.

I just got back from The Dark Knight Rises. In a way, I like The Dark Knight just a little more. Still a very good movie though.

Seeing it tomorrow. Avoiding reading any of the above til I do.... but I am anticipating nothing less than an excellent closing to the series. The IDMB rating has already surpassed that of the The Dark Knight, which amazes me.... though some of that is early hype rating as well.

the transition from Batman Begins to The Dark Knight was amazing, just see if the same can be said going from The Dark Knight to The Dark Knight Rises.

All these answers will be solved when I see it.

To be continued....

i have officially decided that i have a major grippe about The Dark Knight Rises

Spoiler for spoiler:
the football team that Gotham is playing should have been Metropolis....not Rapid City

would have been even better is their mascot's name started with an "S"

^greatest film in the series.....in my humble opinion....nothin better than Freddy and his heroin claws....plus the awesome Dokken theme song

Yesterday I finally saw...

Drive (2011)
I thought it was great! Excellent characters, beautiful filmmaking, and such an interesting mood. The dreaminess punctuated by extreme violence felt very unique to me and the tone of the movie reminded me of very little else that I've seen.

Play Misty for Me (1971)
Also a great movie. I had been meaning to see it forever and was not disappointed. In addition to being creepy and perfectly paced, it had some great local details that really made me miss living in California, including one scene in a restaurant in Monterey where I've actually eaten before.
