The Grand Budapest: 3/5
A fun, visually striking little film. I noticed the Anderson mainly shoots from either head on of quarter angles throughout most of the film, which is interesting. Also, I enjoyed the rapid cutting for comedy, which is something that usually bugs me.

The Congress

I don't even know how to write about this. That's a first for me. I think it's because I honestly didn't understand most of the film. I'm going to have to see this again. I'll try listing some reactionary words instead of writing a bunch of confusing sentences because I don't know what I'm talking about with this one...
  • Visually stunning
  • Well acted by Robin Wright
  • Psychedelic
  • Hallucinatory
  • Moving
  • Very very very deep
  • Confusing
  • Disjointed
  • Fascinating
  • Nothing like S1mone
  • A beautiful unique snowflake. Nothing else like this one.

Yeah...

Bob, help me out.

i think the basic premise of the film is that the only way humanity is going to achieve true utopia is through drug induced slavery....but there is a lot more going on in here than just that

Birdman ain't going anywhere anytime soon....it will most likely sweep all award shows.....i kind of felt Stone's character was there for nothing more than conflict...but man did that opening monologue (the one where she is stoned) fucking floor me...three times now man

i love Wild in the Streets

Finally got around to seeing Bad Santa. Funny in a ridiculous way. Only laugh out loud scene was in the boxing ring with the triple gonad shots.

Easily one of my favorite Christmas movies. Also helps that I love Billy Bob Thornton.

It's almost like he was born to play that role. Especially since he's pretty damn ornery in real life.
