Welcome aboard, professor.

It's a top shelf anti-classic. Also has one of Samuel L. Jackson's most iconic moments. You need to see it.

I remember hating that when it came out. I was like 12 though (and my age estimation was correct =D)

Intimate intimate film. Deserves every accolade it gets. Beautifully shot and constructed with some superb acting from the whole cast. Mahershala Ali and Ashton Sanders were just so good. The music was also very good. The film didn't really tell a vastly unique story but more a story that doesn't get the spotlight often which to me makes it a very important film and something character studies will be written on for college papers in the future. Definitely try to see this while it's in theaters.
the ending was so perfect
Spoiler for spoiler:
It's when the main character explains that he has never been touched by another man.....and in that shot of his face you realize he has never been touched by anyone.....the comfort scene had me in tears

La La Land 3 more times (now 22)....i officially should own stock in this film....i'm so head over heals for this film it really is starting to make me question my sanity. I mean seriously....if something is this cathartic doesn't it likely mean you have some seriously repressed shit going on

also this....

Hacksaw Ridge

a seriously meh here. Not saying it was bad....the war scenes were seriously intense and the basic plot was interesting.....just the over use of biblical bullshit....the walk towards the end was literally a re-shoot from Passion of the christ....and personally i felt Garfield to be somewhat generic

still not a horrible film....just meh

Yeah. That last shot was something else. I really want to talk to you about Manchester by the Sea soon.

Lol. "From the acclaimed director of Braveheart and The Passion of the Christ." They won't even put his ****ing name on the poster.
