In the end I'm not sure how much of it was Ray being an A-hole and how much of it was the brothers being too thick headed and set in their ways to grow the business. Kroc keeps coming up with great business ideas and the brothers just kept saying NO.
Yeah but to reneg on the royalties agreement so they only got a million each and then build a McDonalds across the street to run them out of business was cold.

Agreed. By then Kroc had lost all human focus and was a cold hearted dick. Too bad the brothers didn't sign up earlier. Kroc wanted them to get rich - they just kept balking.

Pan's Labyrinth is really great, why can't there be more movies like that

I just watched For a Few Dollars More for the first time.

Trying to catch up on the glaring oversights in my film library.

Damn Dark Tower was a spit in the face

What would have been so wrong with a direct visual adaption of the first book

Movie was like if JK Rowling wrote Dark Tower and then they still squeezed 3 books into one film

It's a shame because the casting was on point surprisingly and I really believed the actors as their respective characters

But there's not a single change they made in the plot that's not garbage hack writing

So still pretty true to the books then right?

Ayy I appreciate that Frownland

But I will stand by King's Dark Tower as Tarintino levels of mashed up pop art brilliance

In fact on the real Earth he directed the adaptation and it was incredible I'm sure of it
