I guess I just wanted a more morbid ending is all. I don't like the whole idea of giving mankind hope to continue on. It probably wouldn't have tested well with audiences, if they made it more morbid.

Does anyone here, besides me, think that Nicolas Cage is one of the worst actors out there? I don't care how many movies people put him in, he is still terrible. The only thing I have seen of his that is passable is Weather Man but its nothing to poop your pants over

Maybe you don't like him, but it's pretty ridiculous to say that a guy donning an Academy Award for Best Actor is "one of the worst actors out there." Either you haven't seen enough Nicholas Cage films, or you haven't seen enough films period.
