One of the best dramas I've seen in a while. Usually when you watch one you're in line for the odd slice of cheesy dramatic license, not here though. Yet more conclusive evidence that Michael Sheen is awesome too.

I was only about half there when this movie was playing, so I'll definitely have to watch it again to fill in the blanks, but I love the concept of the film, even if the plot's a bit, um.. convinent.

Decent film that, I do think the script's a little on the underworked side - like they try too hard to tell you all the back story at once. Only a minor, niggling little flaw though.

A very good film that had me hooked from the start. There's a great sense of mystery and when everything comes together it all makes perfect sense. At times though it doesn't feel like a British movie, the production makes it feel very American, but otherwise a great film.

Third time for this. Despite the opening 20 minutes cliched ridden voiceover and hyper editing, this film settles down really well with a great ensemble cast to a tense finish. Quality low budget UK movie.

I saw this earlier this year and I'm happy I took a few bong hits before watching it. It was a little misleading because I thought it was more about hooliganism, however it was still a very well done movie. My buddy Chris does renovation work with this English bloke named Eddie and when Chris was telling him about Hooligans Eddie replied with "Oh yeah, that's the movie where Frodo pretends to be hard innit? Nah mate you want to see a real movie, try Rise of the Footsoldier."

Last night I watched this with my friend at my house. Scared the living crap out of me! It is well done as far as realistic terms are concerned, but just a bit boring in some bits. My friend and I were screaming and crying by the end. And I'm not one to be normally scared by horror movies. I think because it was about a demon it freaked me out, because they can exist and can hurt people. Thank goodness I've got God.

PA definitely had it's moments, but overall.. I've seen much scarier. I just think it's funny to hear that some people thought those were actual recordings, the retards. at the end of the movie there's even a giant disclaimer, THIS IS A FICTIONAL ACCOUNT.

Cheesy nonsense upped a notch by half decent direction and the always reliable Kurt Russell.

Half decent direction?

Paul WS Anderson is one of the worst directors working in Hollywood today. You can think him for the Resident Evil movies.

Mortal Kombat is his best film, that one was at least watchable.
