BLACK SNAKE MOAN

I don't quite know what to make of this one. A tale of two lost souls who are seeking redemption through each other. Jackson's catharsis is through music and Ricci's is through ermmm...companionship? Justin timberlake is also in this and he is quite frankly awful in this. Some plot points are never truly resolved and supporting characters are not fully written. However the blues soundtrack is excellent and Jacksons performance along with Ricci's is very good and the blues gig in the bar is wonderfully shot. An interesting but flawed film.

Just saw Amarcord, directed by Frederico Fellini. Gorgeous film, highly recommended.

And it was actually the first time I saw A Clockwork Orange. I thought it was quite good really. Maybe slightly overrated, but it's clever. I like how it questions the ideas of goodness and choice.

I watched Clerks II and Lucky Number Slevin again yesterday

Clerks II was long overdue and I don't think it had the same impact as the first one but it still had it's funny parts....I'd totally fight someone over Star Wars lol

I tried watching The Shooter but I was tired when I started it and fell asleep on it
