Awesome. You have to watch it in the theater though.

Thankyou! Someone who gets what the film is about both stylistically and emotionally. I was waiting for a reason to watch this and was gutted that so many people dissed it. You have restored my faith in film fans! I think it looks awesome.

Hmmm, sounds interesting. I'll see if I can convince the family to go to the movies tonight and see that.

On another note, I'm pleasantly surprised to see Death at a Funeral showing at my local cinema. I saw that movie during the film festival and loved it. A very welcome change from American movies.

It was a fucking roller coaster ride, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun in the theater...I had faith in it since it was J.J. Abrams project. I had some quibbles with it, but the extremely original execution made them all pretty irrelevant.

Oh, there were some people who disliked it, some even walked out of the theater. Mindboggling...:\

A shedload of people walked out of the pics when I went to see A Scanner Darkly. I was loving it. I just knew they did'nt have a clue what the film and novel were about and were just there because they heard the visuals were great-idiots!

i thought it was a surprisingly good adaptation of a classic...i forgot it came out then came across it on digital - Arcter's flatmates played by Robert Downey Jr and Woody Harrelson was a stroke.
last film i saw was Lars and the Real Girl. Alright as tear-jerkers go. Ryan Gosling is a catch. and a bunch of kung fu movies. If you ever see one kung fu movie/whodunnit in your life make it 'The Five Deadly Poisons'. brilliant
