How did you mean Mean Streets? I didn't describe Mean Streets as "one of them films that's so damn watchable"

They use that cover at Blockbuster? :D

I don't know, probably as it looks like the same one I used to see back in the day. Wouldn't be surprised if the one they used was slightly photoshopped (along with the English title).

Wolfman

Just picked up the Blu-Ray the other day. I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time (in theatres) and enjoyed it more this time, mainly because the extended version allowed for much better pacing.

The extras were interesting, too - had a look on youtube so I could share something and I found this little clip of Rick Baker being awesome:

Can't believe I haven't seen this until now. The last hour and a half of this one rivals the first hour and a half of The Dark Knight...

I'm getting closer to my goal of seeing all of Tarantino's movies. This one was good, not great, and didn't live up to the expectations set by Pulp Fiction. There were some good performances, but it dragged on a bit and was a little too slow-paced...

The last film I saw was Terry Gilliam's The Fisher King ..

Some of you will already know that I am a massive fan of this film and that I think it's Gilliam's best. Although I've seen it several times, I make sure a reasonable time has passed between each viewing so that it doesn't get stale. When I saw it again this time, I was once again impressed about how much I like this film.

I don't know what it is about the characters in this drama that speaks to me, but they do. Just about all of them!

Those who don't know the film or at all know what I'm talking about, well .. watch it if you wanna see a really good fantasy/comedy/drama. :D

Exactly how I felt about it. Good, not great.

Well, I dunno how I felt about this one. It had it's plus points, well acted but the believability of it sometimes strayed, but overall it was a decent film. The techniques Scorsese uses when making films is great, the shots he gets, he manages to do things other directors can't. 7/10 for Cape Fear.

Do you ever dislike a movie?
