there's no contradiction in that sentence. i guess i can again chalk this up to a shy of clear english-understanding capacity.

Cassavetes is the worst American filmmaker of all time.

completely agreed. my problem stemmed from this sentence:

Well he does have his signature techniques, that are so obvious I wonder how you never noticed them.

implying that these 'techniques' went over my head, followed by a vague, uninformative list that could apply to nearly any filmmaker. if you're going to imply that i don't understand something, and take it upon yourself to 'educate' me, don't reveal yourself as a clueless twit in the process.

But didnt your original question imply that you disagreed with TheCunningStunt? Whether you meant it that way or not, that is what it implied hence the response you were given. Either way the insults have to stop and hopefully this thread can now get back on track.

it didn't imply that i was disagreeing at all. i simply asked tcs to be a bit more specific in his claims.

^That's why I felt it was some innocent question from a person trying to know what are Scorsese's techniques -_-.

So ok. Lesson learned: I just won't answer any of Bung's questions, even if they're directed to me.

Solomon Kane last night. Absolutely awesome. Visually stunning in every single shot. I really hope they'll be able to complete the trilogy!

I just watched Kick-Ass and it was amazing. Best superhero movie ever made.
