The Last Wave (1977) or Black Rain by Peter Weir

Since I love Weir's previous film 'Picnic at Hanging Rock', I watched this last night. It's about an Australian lawyer (Richard Chamberlain) who has to defend five Aborigines accused of murdering one of their own in something that suspiciously looks like a ritual. But, then, a lawyer starts having some weird dreams and feeling a mystical connection to Aborigines and their mythology. A good film overall, but 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' was much better, although they share similar themes.

A very sweet film, with a great soundtrack.

Watching it, it was pretty hard deciphering the fact from fiction, although I've seen documentaries and read many documents about Bob Dylan. So I had to read the developed synopsis on wikipedia following to my watching the film.
Doing such fragmented a story that so delicately hints the biopic is quite courageous and all in all very well done, still it must be viewed more than once to sink perfectly in the viewer's brain.

watched this ON DEMAND at my friend's house today

Kick-Ass

9.5/10-really well done superhero movie that made **** happen realistically and showed you what really can happen if someone tried to pull some of the stuff from comics in real life. really liked alot of the characters and the action was just sweet.

Transformers 2

my god, 2 1/2 hours never felt so long and abysmal. i mean, up to the middle was so ridiculously bad it was good just to make fun of, but after they were transported to Egypt in the middle, things slowed DOWN. and that was when all of the military guys were there and the big battle was starting. never before has constant fighting in a movie actually bored the hell out of me.

i mean, it wasn't as bad as Disaster Movie, but god damn it comes close. 0_o

3/10 only for the first half
