Lovecraft is very difficult to pin down visually. Director Stuart Gordon is a huge Lovecraft fan along with his regular writer Denis Pasoli. Dagon had some nice visual touches but collapsed in a mess by the end of the film. Re-Animator is an absolute classic but the humour detracts from the original story and From Beyond needed a bigger budget. Dreams From The Witch House which is from the Masters Of Horror Cable series was a fairly effective 50 mins.

Of couse, but he was also anti semitic and a known racist. Don't get wrong I think he was a great writer....but still

That's a short story, not a poem and if you're going to call someone racist you should back it up. Like this:
