I gotta be honest, I did not dig the new Karate Kid at all. I couldn't care less about how much he takes after his father, and even though I don't think he's a bad actor or anything, the movie itself just seemed like a remake for the sake of being a remake. I didn't feel like anything was improved.

Not a bad watch, but at the same time not something exceptionally amazing. A few laughs here and there, but wouldn't make you too bored while watching it. All in all, just mediocre. 6/10

Karate Kid is terrible, as was the original.
However, if you like a load of kids hurting each other then you should watch Battle Royale. A load of kids brutally killing each other FTW.

Not to mention, there's no Karate in the movie.

Same as loveissuicide.
I watched this one yesterday, it was decent enough.
Quite entertaining but left me with a nothing feeling inside, Sam Rockwell was excellent however. I don't think this one will leave any sort of impression on me and I think I'll like it less over time, though as I watched it - it was entertaining and kept me engaged for the most part.

It was better than I expected. Will Ferrell's stuff really bores me these days. I guess since it was just his voice it wasn't so bad. I would actually recommend this movie to people that are bored and have nothing else to watch.
