I thought it was equally horrible. The only reason I even gave The Devil's Rejects a chance was because I had read a couple reviews that said it was a huge improvement over House of 1000 Corpses and also because I have some weird ongoing interest in Rob Zombie even though he's never really done anything in any media that's really blown me away. I guess I just see a lot of potential in him.

If there's one thing I've learned this last few weeks, it's that you and I differ on a lot of opinions film-wise

Each to their own and that. I do agree when you say House Of 1000 Corpses was pretty lame though.

and yeah i agree....Devil's Rejects was a damn fine movie

i've seen the original....kind of like Last House On The Left except the rape scene is almost an hour long....but the pay off is in watch her take revenge.....from what i hear/read the re-make is very brutal in both the rape and revenge.....however the rape is filmed better and is less....explict....but gets the point across to justify what she does
Yeah, I enjoyed Last House On the Left (even if the trailers basically ruined the whole film), so I Spit On Your Grave seems like quite the prospect.

So long as it doesn't send me to sleep like the Friday 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes did, I'm sure it'll be awesome. Then again, I've never seen the original.

yeah House of 1000 Corpses was pretty bad....and i....like Janszoon also feel that Zombie being such an insane fan of the genre....at some point is gonna step up to the plate and knock it out of the park

i really liked the re-make of Last House....much more than the original....the ending had me laughing for days

please we need never mention the re-makes of Friday The 13th or Texas Chainsaw massacre again.....just let sleeping dogs die

Just Tank Girl...and Devil's Rejects.

Not a whole lot now that I think about it.

Ah, well, it's not like Tank Girl is my favorite movie or anything either.

I liked House of 1000 corpses because while watching it...he makes the viewer numb to all the deaths that are happening to the point where you don't even care anymore. I like that.

The Devil's Rejects was just plain hilarious to me. I loved that one also. I have been following Zombie's projects and I like the majority of them. I even like his animated movie

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, if you haven't see it yet. Give it a shot and see if you like it. it had me in stitches.
