I think The Riddler would be the next best choice.
Oh, hell yea... Don't get me wrong, the joker is the shit, but I hate it when they use the same villains over and over again, anyways *coughspiderman*

There will always be more batman movies.

Yah, this one'll last until Christian Bale turns ugly.

hopefully so, we've just gotta hope that nolan stays interested. I'm just thinking of possible villains now. I think Bane would be a good choice, really interesting character, would make for some great action scenes. But after he was portrayed as a mindless henchman in batman & robin I don't know whether he'd be much up to the task. Plus, not many people know him.

SPOILER ALERT

It pissed me off that the Joker wasn't seen dying in this movie... how the hell are they going to have the Joker in the next movie with Heath being dead? unless they have some extra footage of him. I would hate to think they use some other actor to play the part... I mean it worked with Katie Holmes because nobody really gave a **** about her role but Heath made that role what it was.

I liked the Two Face character... I think Eckhart did a decent enough job. Christian Bales Batman voice bugged me for the first hour but I ended up just accepting it (what other choice did I have? getting up and leaving? **** that at $15 a ticket). I think because Bale has such a distinct (lisp) voice he had to over exaggerate his Batman voice so the audience wouldn't ponder why nobody put two and two together that Bruce Wayne was Batman.

Overall I enjoyed this movie a lot... I just wish we saw The Joker die.

If batman killed the Joker he would have given the Joker what he wanted :-/

It's just like that movie seven.

I totally get why he wasn't killed (in the story) I'm just pissed the character is going to be played by somebody else in the next movie or maybe the Joker won't be in the next one but we will just have to assume he is locked away somewhere. My point was knowing Heath died it may have been in the writers best interest to change the story up a bit and make the Joker die in this one.

Um, I don't think they've said they're going to bring the Joker back...

Did anyone else think about the philosophical elements of the film? There were tons of them.

Does anyone else agree that Christian Bale has definitely been the best Bruce Wayne? Maybe not the best Batman overall..but definitely as Bruce.

For sure. Like the whole boat scene where they had till midnight to blow each other up. That was intense.
