My favorite show which is currently still on air is by far DEXTER!

I am absolutely in love with that show.

I've yet to see Big Bang Theory; I've been told that it's good in small doses but repetitive otherwise. I'm thinking that I should see it anyway, given that I was told at two consecutive parties that I looked like one of the main characters whose name I don't recall.

Hmm, maybe I should catch up on Lost now?

Mine has to be:
- Dexter
- Breaking Bad

Those two are the only thing I like that happen sequentially on television.
I like The Wire too, but that's done and gone.. although I do re-watch it when I start missing it.

Dexter is a no brainer if you like crime/CSI type shows but with an awesome twist.

Breaking Bad has VERY good acting and very good screenplay, directing, script, everything. I can't find a single thing wrong with Breaking Bad except that the latest season (3) is far slower than the previous two... but it's still done right in context. If you want to see a series that isn't shabbily put together, Breaking Bad is the ticket. Plus it's about drugs and the DEA... FUNNNNNNNN...

I've been recommended The Wire, good? I was most intrigued after I read a quote by Stephen King proclaiming a character, Snoop, as "perhaps the most terrifying female villain to ever appear in a television series". I read into it more, and the actress actually lived the life of her street character on the show (drug dealer, incarcerated, etc). Been meaning to check it out since...

The Wire is very good. Sometimes the plot wanders and becomes boring. But the majority of it is worth seeing.
