Does (or I should say did) anyone here watch 24? I know a lot of people dislike it for various reasons but I've always felt that the Jack Bauer Power Hour consistently provided some fun, exhilarating and mindless entertainment over the years, even if it gravitated towards a certain format each season and particular plot devices cropped up a little too predictably. And I am allowed to like shows that aren't British sitcoms

I think 24 is a fine show. I havent yet watched the final series and yes, it did peak early on but it's still a great concept. Plus i didnt think the poorer seasons were all that bad. They were still watchable and enjoyable.

24 definitely delivers quite consistently and in its defence, it would be quite hard to write 8 seasons of a show of its nature without introducing repetition (the mole in CTU thing pops up quite often).

I think the finale wrapped up the show very nicely and there's still the 24 movie to come, which I'm guessing will be set in Europe. It's certainly been a rollercoaster ride while it lasted. If there's enough interest I'll move this to its own thread - I just thought I'd check since I don't think it's ever been mentioned on MB.

I still don't get what people talk about when they say SNL has been bad for the past few years.
Still makes me laugh out loud at every time (usually the reason why I'm always laughing hysterically during these cam parties).

I think its been mentioned on occasion around the boards. I would say this thread is a fine location to discuss it, unless we start getting into specifics and spoiler territory.
