It's not actually that easy to argue what game has "objectively" better/worse mechanics. The worth of a mechanic comes down to how engaging it is in combination with the rest of the game, which is gonna have to come down to something subjective. So you can indeed justify preferring D3 over PoE with personally finding it more fun. It's like how there are people who think game reviews can be objective in their assessment of how good a game is: It's downright funny.

Yeah i agree except there is factually more skill options to use when leveling and more end game content. Thats not subjective.

How much of if it matters is subjective though. There's probably also a myriad subtle differences in how these things work between these two games - unless PoE is an outright D3 clone.

It's all about how much fun you're having. I played many hours of PoE and it's great. But I enjoy D3 way more specifically for which one I have more fun with. I could care less how dense PoE is. I get it. It's huge. That's not always better when it comes to personal experiences.
