My bright orange, kitted out minivan with spinners is one of my favorite things ever, and let's not even mention the amazing Akira bike.

The thing that really sets Saints Row apart from GTA is that Saints Row has no illusions about being great, it just wants to be the most fun you've ever had.
I feel like the SR design sessions must have just been people rambling excitedly about things that would be cool to do. Then they implement things in a hurry and come up with more crazy ideas. Not the most well designed games, but ****ing around was fun. In GTA, I get my fill of ****ing around after about 15 minutes. In Saint's Row, I play for 3-5 hours at a time and forget to eat/go to the bathroom.

If the graphics suck I don't care because I grew up with atari and sega master system.
Gimmie those solid mechanics, balance, and difficulty without tedium.
I'm mostly the same. Although some games that I like a lot have a lot of mechanical problems, like bad controls, poor balance, crazy difficulty spikes, etc. I'm willing to forgive quite a bit if I like something else about the game strongly enough.

Got rid of my old 486 computer years ago, but I still have the diskettes for Frontier Elite III lying around. Couldn't get rid of those for ridiculous nostalgic reasons.

Bland people can mock the dildo bat all they want but the dubstep gun is one of the best things in gaming ever. It's even a ****ing blast to use aside from being hilarious.

My brother asked me if I was interested in playing No Mans Sky with the huge new update. Anyone on here played it? Thoughts on the changes? I can't do any research til I get home.

Once I get bored enough with PUBG I am totally checking Rainbow Six out.

I actually played that game on N64, it was wee bit different then.

Pit People

Went ahead and picked this up tonight and I can already tell I'm going to love this one. This is such a creative take on the strategy style RPG concept. Pit People is what I just said, an action packed RTS style game with some RPG elements thrown in. So far, I've seen that the overworld works much like Final Fantasy in that everything is small until you react to it and sometimes it's a battle, sometimes it's not. Really cool take on that sort of thing. This game came out quite a while ago and I remember Northernlion saying he loved it because it was a unique twist on the strategy style genre, and I definitely agree. It's got a lot of interesting comedy thrown in and the voice acting is fantastic. The art style is much like Don't Starve but it's pretty evident that it's meant to be a bit of a joking style of it. But again, it really works. The combat is what you'd expect from an RTS, but it's done much like Civ games where the battle is taking place right there and you have to each react to each others choice of moves. Yes, I'm aware that everyone knows what strategy is. But yeah. It's fun. I'd recommend it if you have a strategy game itch and you just don't quite want the intensity of Civ 6.
