I don't know, the kid version of me just sorta thought the raptors were awesome.

They were awesome. But they were awesome because they bridged the horror of monsters trying to eat you with humans who could outsmart you.

Kid me didn't even get that they were supposed to be super smart. I was more like "lol, he headbutted a reflection, I want action figure, teehee."

The ghost face killer from Scream ****ed me up way more. Especially that part in Scream 2 where the guy gets pulled into a van and sliced up in the middle of a busy campus in broad daylight. Probably shouldn't have watched that when I was like seven or some ****.

No slasher movie has ever scared me. And definitely not a Scream movie. The first Halloween is probably the closest and I was too old when I saw it to be anything more than vaguely unnerved.

But come on is not the raptor cow scene horrifying with showing the raptors' killing instinct as a force of nature?

Still playing Anniversary

Enter a new area. Big colorful Mayan face platform surrounded by **** you can climb, only all of the ledges are too far to jump. Not sure what to expect. If dinosaurs are a thing, who knows what else is gonna pop out.

Try the door ahead. Big ****ing boulder NOPEs you, barely turn around and hit the dodge button fast enough to not get smooshed, two big ****ing doors drop down right behind you.

Stare at the room for a few minutes until you realize that you can go down and move a rickety platform around. Realize you can use it to try for a semi-close ledge, or one that's far away.

Try for the far away one. Somehow reach the platform, but just barely miss the ledge and eat ****.

Try the other one. See some decorated pillars on a statue, not sure if you can grab them. Turns out you can, but all you can do up there is grapple a ring and reach some weird decoration thing that you can also sorta grapple. Can't figure out what to do with it, leave it for later.

Go for the ledge. Make it. Hallway beyond it is filled with ledges and dart traps, have to time each jump perfectly or die and start over. Make it like a champ and reach a big lever that gets rid of one of the doors. Yay!

Look around for a Skyrim-esque freebie tunnel back to the main room. Nope, you just gotta double back through the traps. Head back to the hallway. Now it's filled with pendulum blades.
